Our Client, a major integrated energy company, is looking for a Petroleum Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- To identify engineering solutions for field development, by interpreting and discussing reservoir model and well data with reservoir team, in order to maximize recovery efficiency and improve the field economics.
- To collaborate with Reservoir and Exploration teams to define objectives of well testing and data collection for exploration, development, and production wells proposing the techniques and the equipment to be used ensuring completeness of information and cost control.
- To collaborate with drilling and operation teams to propose development wells completion design.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of Oil & Gas Industry experience
- Minimum 3 years of reservoir study activities
- Well Production: Well Testing, Well Problems Analysis&Diagnosis (Formation Damage, Hydraulic Fracturing, Stimulation, Sand Control, etc.), Artificial Lifting, Production Data, Decline Analysis, Production and injection rates optimization, Production Budget&Workplan.
- Well Data Acquisition&Evaluation: Geology&Drilling well program, Wireline formation testing RFT, Well Test Design&field follow-up, PVT sampling design, Cased Hole Log Interpretation.
- Engineering Tool Practice: very good knowledge/practice of computer based engineering tools (i.e. Prosper, Eclipse, Interpret2, Matbal, Saphir).
- Reservoir Modelling and Characterisation: Material balance (p/z, 1d Mod.) - Reservoir 3D Geometry Model and Geostat.Reservoir Characterisation - 3D Model Initialisation, History Match, Computed Aided History Match Techniques, Forecast Techniques - Capillary Press. use, eval.&normalis. - 3D Compositional model - Dual porosity&dual perm. 3D mod. - 3D Complex Well Modeling - Field & Wells Completion Scheme Design - Reservoir Uncertainties Risk analysis
- General knowledge of the Russian petroleum systems and hydrocarbon accumulations.
- Specific knowledge of the Russian oil&gas industry best practices and rules.
- Good technical English (oral and written).
