Recruiting agency IOTA Vostok is currently looking for experienced professionals for the position of
SURVEY COORDINATOR in a large oil & gas company.
Division : Offshore Engineering
Reports to: Engineering Manager
Main responsibilities:
Ensure coordination of the following offshore surveys Geophysical, Geotechnical, Metocean and Ice expedition.
Responsible for Metocean and Ice criteria for Offshore and Onshore.
Responsible for Metocean monitoring system. Involved in Ice & Iceberg management and especially in the detection and forecast part of metocean and ice management system.
Main tasks:
Objective of surveys and associated studies are to clear design basis for all facilities and equipment including, but not limited to, floating unit, seabed template, flowline, umbilical, mooring anchors and export trunkline. This include the following tasks:
•Define needs for survey
•Establish scope of works for surveys
•Coordinate request for proposal, contract preparation, technical and commercial proposal and follow-up of surveys Metocean and Ice Specification includes the following subject
•Perform necessary studies necessary to define sound extreme and operationnal criteria
•Guarantee that best expertise is used for the project Metocean and Ice management include the following topics
•Responsible for specification of Metocean, Ice and Iceberg monitoring system
•Coordinate with ice engineering, logistics, floating unit designer to participate to the elaboration of the Ice & Iceberg management plan.
Company representative for Survey contracts Ensure that Company take knowledge and benefit from Russian experience in survey in Arctic conditions, as well as know how transfer from international to Russian contractors
Experience required:
•More than 3 years experience in oil & gas project developments and surveys
•Master degree or equivalent university education. Long, relevant experience may compensate for less formal education.
•International work experience
Fluent Russian, English
