Recruiting agency IOTA Vostok is currently looking for experienced professionals for the position of
TEO ELECTRICAL ENGINEER (ONSHORE) in a large oil & gas company. REPORTS TO: Lead Electrical Engineer, via Engineering Coordinator in Moscow
Scope of the job:
•Assist the Engineering Team in ensuring that the design of installations and associated facilities is carried out according to the Electrical Project specifications
•Share and contribute to the Engineering work with the Electrical Lead Discipline Engineer
•Ensures that the TEO project associated STU’s and TEO project chapters are developed in line with the FEED Engineering developed in Paris. Ensures that the General Designer finalise the TEO project dossier with minor corrections fed back to the FEED Engineering and CFT process in Paris.
•Supervision, control and coordination of all Electrical Engineering TEO Design activities with respect to overall Project Objectives (Schedule, Quality, Budget)
Key responsibilities:
•Supervise and coordinate the TEO/STU project Contractors and Sub-Contractors for all fields of Electrical activities. Monitor the progress of the related discipline Engineering Design activities performed by the Contractor’s and comment/approve the progress figures and supporting documents.
•Check and review the engineering documents developed by the Contractors, Sub-Contractors and timely give comments and/or approval, in accordance with the Project procedures and requirements.
•Ensure that Russian Federation design rules are respected or project standards not conflicting, identify potential gap remaining and participate in the finalisation of the project Standards
•Answer Contractors queries: TP/CIS TEO developer, General Designer or STU developer, control deviations
•Participate in Technical Reviews as appropriate (Hazop, PTR, …).
•Ensures that CFT documents are not conflicting with TEO dossier and later working design as applicable
•Assist commissioning and start up team when in Detailed engineering and start up phase
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:
•Graduated Engineer with 7 - 15 years experience in electrical engineering related to large LNG and/or oil and gas project.
•Concept design / FEED stages of projects in the Oil & Gas industry
•Skills in terms of LNG specific HV and VHV design appreciated (high Voltage experience, experience of Power Generation Unit, experience on electrical production)
•Russian regulation/norms and TEO project development knowledge mandatory
•Experience in large variable speed electrical motors and power generation facilities
•Knowledge of international standards/norms, industrial and technical constraints is required
