Functions:
Lubricants S&OP process produces an integrated operational plan on a 2-24 month time horizon on a monthly basis. The process covers 5 Steps of S&OP (1 New Activities, 2 Demand Planning, 3 Supply Planning, 4 Integrated Reconciliation, 5 Process Review.) The Demand Planner is a key role in the effectives operation of the Global Lubricants S&OP process. Lubricants S&OP process produces an integrated operational plan on a 2-24 month time horizon on a monthly basis. The role is responsible for leading the Step 2 Demand Planning process at a local level, building the local demand forecast at SKU/product family level over the 2-14 month time horizon, and facilitating forecast sign-off by the Demand Cell Owners (Sales and Marketing Managers) on a monthly basis, and has shared responsibility with the S&OP team for the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the Sales and Operations Planning Process.
Key Activities
Prepares, cleanses and manipulates data to create history based forecast for all SKUs/Product Families
Uses expertise and detailed knowledge to produce best possible initial forecast and facilitate the Demand Input Providers and Demand Cell Owners in agreeing valid and accurate forecast
Integrates New Activity (step 1) related information into the forecast. Collaboration with relevant activity owner to ensure information incorporated into forecast is valid
Co-ordinates Step 2 Meeting, including agenda and pre-read preparation and documentation of output
