Position
Mechanical Engineer
Function
• Overall technical integrity of mechanical design premises, design, structural and flow assurance behavior.
• Designing premises definition of onshore mechanical systems (both static and rotating items)
• Defining and specifying geotechnical and geophysical surveys
• Defining piping routing
• Internal design and subcontracted design supervision
• Material selection and specification
• ITT preparation and bid technical evaluation
• Planning, review and follow-up of piping material purchasing, construction and commissioning
• Flow assurance follow-up from design to start-up
• Estimating mechanical items cost and schedule
Requirements
• Degree or Technical Diploma
• Good knowledge of spoken and written English
• 7 years of Oil & Gas Industry experience
• 5 years of control system experience
• Internal Standard, Suppliers qualification methodology and techniques, Feed-back development and diffusion, Technical audit and Design Review, Work team management methodology, Site Materials and equipment organization, Project Procurement Management
• Contracting Strategy, Contract Management
• Standard ISO, TQM and Quality system, Technical requirement and Standard
• Local/National and International Standard and Codes, Health, Safety, Environment, Quality, Tender procedure
• Mechanical Design, Piping Design
• Inspection, Installation, Offshore Installation Supervision, Control system knowledge, Inspection, control and testing techniques
• Prep. of Devel. Program & Budget, Data Books, Oper. & Decom. Manual, Close-Out Report Preparation
