Western FEED/EPC company is looking for a Piping Stress Engineer, project in Russia on FEED and TEOC stage. Contract for 1 year. Requirements: Under the direction of the Lead Piping Engineer, the Piping Stress Engineer shall: - Have at least 10 years industry experience - Be able to determine criticality factors for analysis based on the project Basis of Design. - Develop the critical line list and stress analysis working procedures - During early phases of project execution the Stress Engineer shall provide technical assistance to the Designers in the shaping of geometric piping configurations. - Knowledge of proprietary software required. Preference is with Caesar II - Prioritisation of work shall be consistent to direction provided by the Lead Piping Engineer. - Planning of analytical work. - Accountable for man-hours. - Be able to work with RDI directly, supervising where required and checking their results to ensure project compliance. - Experience in co-ordination / review / progress reporting of deliverables. - Will have Russian construction experience. - Advantage to have piping design experience outside of Russia - Will likely have been a stress piping engineer on a previous significant project - Will need to have prior work experience of working with RDI's on FEED and TEOC work - Good English; written and spoken - Knowledge of Russian and international standards and codes - Will have worked with and in International companies - Willing to work in Moscow and Samara locations. - Some travel to Irkutsk - After 3 months the work will be in Moscow and another 9 (or more) months the work will be fulfilled in Samara or other region.
