Head of Well Delivery

Qualification requirements:
- Higher professional education in Engineering
- Additional training in Drilling, Completions and Well Services Operations
- Proven Leadership skills
- The minimal previous work experience under the speciality shall be 10-15 years
- Fluency in English
Job Description:
- Lead the delivery of the wells required for the Sakhalin Phase 2 project.
- Ensure delivery of all stated objectives of the well achieved within the agreed programme time constraints and budget.
- Conduct offshore/site/workshop visits on a regular basis to promote HS&E issues and demonstrate safety leadership commitment.
- As part of an integrated project team (subsurface/wells/surface/operations), co-ordinate well engineering input to the definition of optimised field development plans for the asset;
- Champion the Phase II drilling cost challenge, particularly by application of new technology and rDtL processes;
- Liaise with Russian parties and agencies to explain and defend well concepts, in particular deployment of new technology;
- Liaise with Partners to ensure their obligations and expectations are accounted for
- Manage technical support for well engineering from shareholder companies;
- Manage and develop Russian national staff;
- Verify that all required procedures and programs are in place to execute the work to appropriate standards;
- Acceptance of accountability for the safe execution of the program within the limits of the approved AFE and schedule.
- Confirmation that adequate budget is available for the approved AFE.

Position Location
Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk office
Work Pattern
Mondays-Fridays from 9:00 a.m. till 6:00 p.m.
