We are looking for Instrumentation Engineer for Kazakhstan Mining Company JOB DUTIES: Maintain high standard of personal safety and environmental behaviour; Fulfilling requirements of Work permits concerned with PLC hardware/software/networks, Fire protection & detection systems, CCTV system, Security & access control systems, PLC networks, Field instruments and Mobile radio systems; Responsible and accountable for all software changes to the PLC’s and File servers containing Instrumentation files; Responsible and accountable for assisting operations with all radioactive sources, licensing, permits, storage and monitoring; Engineering assistance and response to construction requests for technical information or clarifications; Field inspections, test report/protocol review and monitoring of Construction instrument and cable installations. WORKING CONDITIONS/REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS: The fundamentals of the labour legislation; State Standards and regulations in respect of Process control, automation and nuclear devices; Issue Purchase requisitions for items solely identified within the annual budget; Stores withdrawals for items solely identified within the annual budget; Lock out and issue work permits on PLC, camera and instrument equipment. Rotation 28/28 REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE: Tertiary degree in Electronic, Electrical or Instrumentation engineering; A minimum of 10yrs experience in a process orientated environment in maintenance, calibration and tuning of field instrumentation. This should include units such as density (nuclear source), control valves, conveyor instruments and scales, level (ultrasonic, microwave & capacitance), flow (magnetic, coriolis and DP cell), material weight meter’s, pressure & differential pressure, temperature (RTD), speed, distance, conductivity, pH and analytical (spectral, image, gas, etc.) devices; A sound knowledge of PLC ladder logic programming. Extensive experience with RSLogix programming and Allen Bradley Logix PLC implementation will be a distinct advantage; Experience in the use of instrumentation engineering tools (Aveva, Bentley, Other). GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to use Microsoft Project for development of complex program / project schedules that identify critical path, dependencies, work effort and allocation of people to tasks; Highly developed use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel for presentation and analysis of project information. Experience in vendor management with the ability in meeting deadlines with conflicting priorities and changing business requirements; High competency with reading, writing & speaking of Kazakh & English languages
