1) Position: Business Development Manager
Lines of reporting: functional – VP on Business Development for Russia and CIS (based in UAE) // administrative – Moscow Branch Manager (Moscow)
2) Location: Moscow, with possibilities of extensive business travelling over Russia and internationally
3) Functions: promote the Company with Russian Oil and Gas Companies and International Oil & Gas Companies operating in Russia. The Company's key in-country targets in business development are: a) Delivery of major EPC and/or EPCM projects b) Designing (including pre-FEED, FEED, TEOC, detailed design) of fields development, oil and gas plants, pipelines, refineries and other facilities. c) Deliver ‘niche’ / specialized services, e.g. consultancies on field development concepts, consultancies on production enhancement for mature oil and gas assets, etc. d) Possibly (to be confirmed) seek for investment possibilities in partnership with major companies: risk-sharing investment, build-operate-transfer schemes, etc.
The candidate is expected to start without a supporting team (will have part-time support of translator/junior marketing assistant). Building up a team may be considered in case of successful performance.
4) Requirements to candidate:
BACKGROUND: higher technical education in oil and gas is preferred. Candidates with other background may be considered, although, subject to excellent experience and compliance with other requirements EXPERIENCE: at least 10 years in oil and gas sector with major Russian or international O/G companies in Russia in the delivery of major projects. Alternatively, at least 10 years experience in sales and marketing with a major construction / engineering contractor. In the later case, clear evidence of specific achievements has to be demonstrated. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: excellent knowledge of the sector; excellent knowledge of the clients – major o&g companies operating in Russia. Good knowledge of Russian construction and designing organizations. Good appearance and smart attitude enabling to present company strategies to executives, at negotiations, in public speeches, and on other events. Good negotiation skills. Computer literate with good knowledge of basic soft (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.) LANGUAGE: At least, upper-intermediate level of English, fluent knowledge preferred. This requirement might be waved subject to exceptional record in other aspects.
5) Remuneration package: Negotiable salary. Bonuses for achievements can be discussed. High class medical insurance. Cost of mobile telephoning (business related). Good level of travel allowances.
