VACANCY - Business development manager - Oil and Gas

Our client is European company, they sell services of generators leasing for different industries, due to futher market expansion they are looking for Business Development Manager, Oil and Gas or/and Mining markets

Location: Western Siberia with extensive travel in Russia, candidate location Western Siberia

The successful candidate will need to interface with customers (commercial/technical) for the generation of day to day sales/marketing functions and project sales.
Also, this individual needs to be able to determine new market initiatives, competitive pricing and business forecasting.
Specifically, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for the following:
- Developing new customers in the Oil & Gas exploration, drilling and production sectors, through current industry knowledge and contacts
- Developing and prioritising customer lists and contacts
- Providing timely and accurate reports on business opportunities and customer activities. Analyse each opportunity and provide feedback to management.
- Network with energy companies for the development of pro active lines of communication with customers
- Develop, prepare and implement short and long term plans ensuring they conform to corporate objectives
- Coordinate and gather information for major project bidding as well as commercial / operational and technical presentations.
- Business forecasting, preparation and analysis
- Assist in the corrective action of customer complaints
- Keep management informed of conditions, activities, and trends including customer or prospect changes, technical developments, market dynamics and competitive strategies.
- Competitor intelligence reporting

The candidate
sales professional with a minimum of 5-10 years experience in the Russian market
technical degree in Oil and Gas
has specific experience and contacts with oil and gas owners, EPC firms, and drilling contractors and general oil field services companies is essential.
He or she must be a perceptive self starter who can implement effective sales and marketing programs
English fluent
