Piping Designer

A leading dynamic international oil &gas company looking for professionals to one of the new biggest offshore project in Russia and invites candidates for Piping Designer position.

Company: 8.500 employers worldwide, clients – the biggest oil &gas companies\projects

Work location: Sakhalin island

Reporting to Lead Piping Designer

Requirements:

- Higher education: engineering discipline

- Qualification in the oil & gas industry is a plus

- Experience from 2+ years within a design engineering environment

- Basic piping engineering & modelling knowledge

- Experience of PDMS \ PDS or equivalent CAD package

- Additional experience of a piping construction environment would be an advantage

- Oil and Gas/ Petrochemical Technical Knowledge would be an advantage

- Good communication skills

- Team player

- Ability to work in a multicultural team

- Good safety awareness

- Good command of the English language

Accountabilities:

- To provide entry-level CAD designer skills for the piping group

- To undertake PDMS training and become proficient in PDMS use

- To assist in the compilation of BOM’s, specifications in addition to drawings

- To carry out document searches via LiveLink and Documentum
