CIVIL AND STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

Employee’s Responsibilities

1 Support development of Front End Compression Project design at for civil and structural discipline engineering.
2 Ensure Project design contractor comply with Company standards (including International standards), codes and procedures throughout all phases of Project design development.
3 Ensure implementation of approved strategies and procedures across all aspects of the project.
4 Assist in managing the technical interfaces between the Company, design contractors and vendors.
5 Be a focal point in the project team for:
• Civil & Structural discipline knowledge and advise
• Civil & Structural discipline governance
• Technical integrity assurance for civil & structural discipline
6 Prepare technical and status reports for the civil/structural discipline.
7 Ensure that Change Control Procedures and relevant Standards are followed for any changes executed.
8 Support equipment specification development and revision;
10 Provide technical support to Supply Chain Management engineers negotiating suppliers on technical issues – verifying part numbers, specifications, properties etc.
11 Identify spare parts and consumables required for reliable operation of the project structural equipment.
12 Ensure his activities are aligned with E&M Mechanical, Civil and Pipelines Group.
15 Act as Contract Holder if assigned this function for designated contracts. In this role be responsible for the initiation, award, execution and completion of the contracts for which you have been appointed Contract Holder.
Specifically be responsible for:
 Development of specifications and scopes of work
 Development of a Russian Content Strategy and the achievement of Russian Content targets within your contract.
 Carrying-out out pre-qualification and technical evaluations
 Preparing, in co-operation with the Contract Engineer, submissions to the appropriate approving authority based on the value of the contract.
 Ensure all commitments are made within the approved contract value.
 Ensure the contract is executed in an efficient and effective manner, fully in accordance with the contract terms and conditions and policies and procedures.
 Ensure HSES is appropriately managed in accordance with Managing HSES in Contracts Standard.
 Hold a quarterly performance review with the contractor, when appropriate to the contract.
 Approve sub-contractors
Job responsibilities will cover but not limited to the following project elements:
• Structural concrete and steel works;
• Buildings & construction camp;
• Insulation and painting;
• Site preparation works;
• Piling and foundations;
• Roads and fences;
• Drainage and effluent treatments;
• Paving.
Requirements:
-• Higher professional education in Civil and Structural Engineering (shall hold formal qualification(s) in Civil Engineering (University Degree or equivalent)
1.10 The minimal previous work experience under the speciality shall be 8 years of directly relevant experience.
2. Professional skills and Competencies:
Civil and Structural Engineer shall know:
- Regulatory and procedural materials for structural equipment, including RF and International regulations (GOST, SNiP, ABS, API, ISO, BS EN, etc). Knowledge of RF and International regulations for hazardous facilities is required in particular.
- Specific design requirements, as they are provided in relevant corporate standards, for the structural equipment to be in compliance with environmental conditions.
- Civil and structural engineering with ability of preparing and interpretation of engineering drawings and construction procedures.
- Civil and structural equipment design, installation, modification and repair methods;
- Basics of organisation of plant design and project execution;
- Basics of economics, organization of production, labour and management;
- Labour and labour safety legislation of the RF;
- Rules and regulations on labour safety, safety rules, industrial sanitation and fire safety.
- relocation to the eastern Russia will be required
