Our customer is an International Operating Company, currently undertaking a major onshore oil project located in Russia. We currently have a vacant position of Civil and Structural Engineer, based in Moscow.
The Civil and Structural Engineer manages, under the responsibility of Package Manager, all technical activities related to the civil works and structural design fr om the Basic engineering up to EPCC phases. The job holder is the main interlocutor of Survey, Engineering and Contractor(s) for civil works and structural technical issues. He liaises with the relevant Company’s specialists whenever required.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure the satisfactory completion of project in terms of civil works surveys, engineering and execution.
• Manage and control (technical, budget and schedule …) and approve the civil / structural works engineering studies during the Project execution in line with the Company’s Referential, Master Development Plan, Russian norms and practices.
• Anticipate potential problems of interfaces. Analyse and propose corrective actions.
• Optimise as much possible the design for any potential cost savings within acceptable safety and quality lim its.
Profile :
• Graduate Engineer with minimum 10 years experience in Civil Engineering and Construction for the Oil industry of which 5 spent in a lead civil / structural engineering position.
• Fluent in English (speaking and writing).
• Good communication skills, able to work in a multicultural environment.
• Good knowledge and practice with Autocad/ Navisworks software and other software.
