Civil Work Supervisor

• Conduct specific inspections on materials, equipment and construction/installation
activities on site.
• Issue the relevant Quality Records.
• Control and monitor the certification and storage of coating products.
• Monitor the qualifications of coating processes.
• Inspect and monitor surface preparation prior to coating.
- Check and record of atmospheric conditions prior to starting of coating operations.
- Wet and dry film thickness checks.
- Monitoring observations of the correct coding cycles.
- Verification of coating applications.
- Visual inspections.
- Adhesion testing.
- Penetration testing.
• Ensure that accurate Coating records are maintained by Contractor throughout the
contractual period.
• Conduct visits, surveillance activities and/or compliance audits at the Site Works as per
schedule or, as and when required.
• Identify any Non-Conformances related to Coating disciplines preformed by Contractor
and report them to Company’s Site Coating Engineer.
• Monitor quality records issued by Contractor to verify that weld acceptance is performed
in accordance with reference documentation.
• Performs similar other or related duties as and when assigned by direct supervisor.
• Support the rest of the team and propose alternative courses of action, wherever
possible, to facilitate efficient project progress. Participates in regular meetings to keep
abreast with all issues relating to the Project. Discuss and review opportunities for the
optimization of assigned work programs

QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Education: Graduate engineer (B. Sc) in the relevant technical / engineering field.
Additional coating qualifications to Russian Standard, Codes and Practices are required.
Experience: 6-7 years experience as a Coating and Insulation Inspector in the context of large
international projects with good level of technical understanding of all disciplines.
Familiar with Total Company Rules, General Specifications & typical O&G codes & standards
(e.g., BS, ASME, ANSI, API). Excellent team management skills, good knowledge of project
construction and piping specification is essential, excellent analytical, judgemental and inspection
skills, good interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.
Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
