One of the major western operator companies opens a position of a Civil Works Supervisor Responsibilities:
* Follows up and verifies all documentations proposed by the contractor;
* Ensures the storing and confidentiality of the documentation;
* Participates to the reception of equipment;
* Ensures that all activities supervised are performed with the proper degree of safety and environment protection;
* Ensures that all activities supervised are performed in respect of contract, purchase order, change order terms and conditions;
* Follows up and verifies compliance with technical specifications, drawings and procedures;
* Manages construction interfaces with contractors, operations etc;
* Provides necessary input and participate in clarifications, negotiations;
* Anticipates potential problems. Analyses and proposes corrective actions;
* Makes necessary arbitration between different disciplines, the only criteria being the benefit of the overall project;
* Supervises the preparation of the pre-commissioning and assist commissioning activities;
* Promotes the reporting of incidents and anomalies;
* Participates in meeting related to the area of responsibility;
* Contribute to audits of contractors or sub-contractors in co-operation with the QA/QC department;
* Liaises and supports vendor / contractor representative for site survey and work visits;
* Maintains good relationships with contractors, being flexible enough but also strict when necessary to achieve the objectives of the project.
Requirements:
* Education/ Work experience in pipeline and river crossing: high professional education (technical) with work experience not less than 5 years as pipeline supervisor;
* Good technical background should include design and equipment utilization in pipeline facilities;
* Good English (speaking and writing);
* Good communication skills, able to work in a multicultural environment.
Conditions of employment:
* Location: Arctic Siberia;
* 28/28 shift;
* Salary: 120 000 – 150 000 RUR per month (shift change period is also paid).
