Our client (EPC projects) is looking for Civil Works Designer:
CANDIDATES MUST HAVE ELIGIBILITY TO WORK in RF and FLUENT RUSSIAN.
▪ Perform technical tasks assigned by Discipline Leader or Specialists, related with drafting, modeling and designing activities, estimation of civil and steel works, checking of deliverables with the main target to operate in compliance with Project requirements, time schedule and quality standards
The Designer executes the activities within his area of responsibility, ensuring the compliance with the QA/QC and HSE requirements
Tasks include:
A-Development Technology know how and Commercial support
▪ Provide technical support
B-Feasibility
▪ Provide technical support
C-Bidding phase/Commercial proposal development
▪ Prepare list of deliverables and developed sketches for studies
▪ Prepare material quantities (BOQs) and weights (MTOs) estimation D-Project Execution (Job progress and completion)
▪ Set up and execute assigned activities related to production of drawings and assessment of quantities in accordance with project requirements and milestones
▪ Prepare sketches for studies and pre-design of civil and structural works, pursuing objectives of sound design practice and optimises in term of costs, fabrication simplicity and safety
▪ Prepare detailed BOQ for civil works and MTO for steel structure
▪ Ensure proper quality checks of all Discipline project deliverables issued by subcontractors inside or outside the Company
▪ Coordinate drafting activities developed inside and outside the Company
▪ Maintain and update documentation list E-Construction and start up
▪ Provide support field engineering at site
Knowledge of tools related to 2D and 3D modelling activities
Knowledge of engineering design criteria for foundations, concrete structures and works, steel
structures (piperacks, equipment support structures, services platforms, shelters etc.).
Capability to identify proper technical solutions versus construction criticalities
Knowledge of Discipline engineering design criterias, methods and workflows from conceptual
phase up to site engineering phase. Capability to define the technical documents set based on
Project quantities and scope of work. Capability to perform and coordinate Project engineering
documents production activities and to check and review design documents, prepared either
internally or by Vendors
