Location: Atyrau Role Overview: Assist the Commissioning Manager in ensuring that all Client’s Onshore Commissioning Systems and Services are identified and implemented. Contracts and Cost budgets developed and administered. Coordinate Systems / Services functions ensuring they are controlled, reviewed, supervised, as per the approved Company strategy and policy.
To assist the Commissioning Systems Engineers and Planning Engineers, Cost /Contracts Administration, DCC, Translation, Materials & Logistics supporting onshore commissioning activities.
Duration: 12 months, with the possibility of extension
Basis: 28/28
Indicative Day Rate: Negotiable
Role Activities:
• Assist in the preparation of Commissioning Services Cost/Contracts Management and Administration
• Assist in the preparation of Commissioning Services execution plans and procedures Management
• Provide support and follow up commissioning Input into Project Contracting Strategy
• Provide support and follow up of Contract Documents for Commissioning and readiness for Start-up Services
• Develop Reports and Statistical analysis as per Commissioning manager needs
• Oversee Commissioning budget development and administration, Invoices processing and reporting
• Co-Ordinate multiple contracts Administrator
• Assist in the Supervision of the commissioning activities support disciplines and specialists
• Job holder will assist and supervise an integrated team mainly composed by Project engineers, Vendor specialist, Cost , Planning, Quality, Contracts and PAD seconded staff.
Qualifications & Experience:
The job holder must have
• Not less than 15 years experience in the Oil & Gas Industry, Operations worldwide;
• Experienced in multi-disciplinary interaction and coordination
• Experienced in coordination with Commissioning, Operations, Maintenance, Projects.
• Interaction skills with the Engineering, Construction, Planning, Development, Contractor’s, Operations Managers
• Proven Professional competencies acquired in the commissioning of major O&G Projects worldwide;
• Good technical, communicational and working skills;
• Proactive approach to decision making and team works;
• Ability to work with and coach foreign Nationals.
• Proven Professional competencies acquired in Contracts for: Design/Process/Construction/Commissioning based experience;
• Fluent English
• Document Writing (Management Plans and Procedures) experience is favourable.

Specific technical knowledge:
The job holder must have proven, Expertise & previous experience in :
• Design, Construction, Commissioning & Supporting Facilities for the Oil Production Operations
• Contract preparation and review
• A good knowledge of Cost/Budget development.
• Planning and Reporting
• Management of Vendor and Specialist call out
• Materials & Logistics
• Combined operations (Construction, livening up facilities, testing, operating process systems…)
• Decommissioning
• QA/QC. Completions data base Systems
• Tie-ins, de-bottlenecking and repairing of previously operated Facilities (Degassing, de-oiling and purging)
• Production & Drilling activities comprehension, for interfacing/synergies
• Previous experience of Plant Start-Up
