Function
• To participate in Technical Safety Reviews including process HAZOPs, HAZIDs, and Technical Risk Assessment. Training will be provided on how to conduct a HAZOP and HAZID as Leader and how to apply these skills in conducting Technical Safety and Risk reviews on new or existing facilities as required.
• To conduct Process Accidental Event Consequence modelling as required and report on the results.
• To Calculate and Analyse oil and gas forecasts, mass and energy balances, electrical power forecasts, water processing forecasts as necessary;
• To develop or possess the skills necessary to develop and use benchmarking data, cost estimates, write budget proposals, project conceptual schemes, and economic analyses for project and investment proposals;
• To Provide and Maintain management information reports, presentation material and support documentation including information for Shareholder reporting as required.
• To assist as required in the commissioning of site based facilities as part of the integrated oilfield following company procedures;
• To contribute to or develop as the primary Author, Process and Operational studies as necessary on assets and project proposals;
• Perform General Concept Engineering Studies as and when required, producing a report containing all information necessary for obtaining Management and Shareholder approvals, and the subsequent Technical Assignment to the Detail Design group.
Requirements
• To be, or to become, fully familiar with oilfield separation and treatment processes, including technical integrity and safety, process control, automation, and basic oil and gas process engineering;
• To be able to analyse a technical problem, identify the key issues and write a concise, structured briefing report for Management which includes clear recommendations for further action;
• To follow the Russian Design and Operational rules and standards.
