This position is based in Moscow, Russia. The Construction Coordinator will be involved in a major Oil & Gas operator’s project.
Activities:
• Liaise with team managers to establish their requirements and timing for contracted technical assistance .
• Prepare the technical contracts in accordance with rules and procedures .
• Preparation of the pre-qualification dossier and pre-qualification procedure .
• Monitor progress and control project activities in accordance with site construction team .
• Participate ,whenever necessary to any technical or coordination meeting .
• Provide assistance to Contract Manager on dossier related to Construction Change Orders request and participate in CO negotiations .
• Be the focal point for the management of the deviation request with the engineering department ,technical query , concession request and derogation request with the QA /QC/ Manager .
• Promote safety on Contractor and Subcontractors Construction location .
• Provide technical assistance to site and ensure mechanical completion and systems .
• Follow up the procurement activities in liaison with procurement leader or from contractors .
• Troubles shoot technical problems that may affect the construction and liaise with area engineer and engineering team for the resolution.
• With the contracts team , close out all contracts in a timely manner after demobilization of personnel .
• Verify proposals in conjunction with team managers , arrange interviews etc ….
• Prepare the planning documents .
• Communicate with the contractor representative
• Ensure timely renewals and/or amendment of contract as required .
• Identify potential delays , analyse and issue with the site/or construction manager proposed corrective actions as required .
• Identify the critical activities and bottleneck for the progress .
• Promote planning ,construction ,engineering , procurement for clarification and progress .
• Clarifie all problems with the contractors .

Qualifications and Experience required:
Graduate engineer with minimum 10 years experience in oil and gas industry;
Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
Fluent Russian is mandatory;
Good communication skills, able to work in a multicultural environment.
