SCOPE OF THE JOB:
Assist the onshore Construction & Engineering Team in ensuring that the “Organization of Construction” Part of DED (Design Engineering Documentation) for all onshore facilities is carried out according to the Project specifications and SDag requirements.
Share and contribute the DED works with the Situation Plan manager
Ensures that the DED, associated STU’s and DED project chapters are developed in line with the FEED Engineering developed in Paris and Onshore Construction department. Ensures that the General Designer finalise the DED project dossier with minor corrections feed back to the FEED Engineering and CFT process in Paris.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DELIVERABLES OF THE JOB:
Supervise and coordinate the DED Contractors and Sub-Contractors for all fields related to the Organization of Construction of onshore objects. Monitor the progress of the related discipline Engineering Design activities performed by the Contractor’s and comment/approve the progress figures and supporting documents.
Check and review the documents developed by the Contractors, Sub-Contractors and timely give comments and/or approval, in accordance with the Project procedures and requirements.
Ensure that Project design specifications and standards are applied, within defined RF norms to be used and the applied STU’s.
Ensure the Contractors’ and Sub-Contractors resources and organization are adequate (and competent) for achieving the discipline engineering works.
Liaise with all stakeholders on the discipline philosophies and requirements and ensure the project needs are met. Manage all interface issues relating to discipline.
Ensure that Russian Federation design rules are respected or project standards not conflicting, identify potential gap remaining and participate in the finalisation of the project Standards
Organize and participate in discipline meetings with Engineering Lead Discipline Engineers, construction specialists and Contractors. Participate as required to specific ad hoc meetings.
Participate in Technical Reviews as appropriate (Hazop, PTR, …).
Ensures that CFT documents are not conflicting with DED dossier and later working design as applicable.
Participate in EPC tender clarifications
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduated Engineer with 7 - 15 years experience in construction and start-up, approvals related to large oil and gas projects.
Concept design / DED stages of projects in the Oil & Gas industry.
Russian regulation/norms and DED project development knowledge mandatory
Knowledge of international standards/norms, industrial and technical constraints is required
Fluent English.
