Position Consultant (Energy Efficiency)
Function
• Conducting energy management system evaluations, comparing client’s actual performance to the company or benchmark criteria for achieving excellence; in some cases, performance is compared to regulatory criteria. • Preparing written reports, which meet quality and timing standards. Developing, with the client, a prioritised action plan based on the evaluation findings. Delivering various implementation assistance services, training, developing procedures, transfer the company know-how into solutions for the client, etc. • Coaching client management • Facilitating client management system processes including , for example , project management office meetings • Monitoring client progress against the action plan. • The Energy Efficiency Consultant will also support business development managers in developing client relationships and to develop a deep understanding of client business problems and needs, translating them into high value solutions.
Requirements • BS/BA or equivalent in a relevant technical degree is preferred. However consideration would be given to candidates with extensive industry experience. • At least 6 years of professional experience in energy efficiency consultancy in customer facing roles. • Ideally also operations experience including direct supervisory responsibility, preferably in a corporate Energy Strategy or Energy Efficiency role. • Ideally, industry experience in one or more of our key client areas of activity: oil and gas, metallurgical, manufacturing, mining. • Ability to travel extensively up to 80 % of monthly time. • Fluency in both written and spoken English and Russian • Ability to relate to and inspire client’s personnel, including senior management. • Listening skills for facts and subtleties. • Communication skills: verbal, presentations and written reports, to all levels of an organisation. • Ability to work in different teams playing different roles. • Adaptability/Flexible: address needs as they arise versus following a rigid process. • Ability to manage conflicts, reach consensus. • Analytical ability: evaluate findings, identify underlying problems and come to practical solutions.
