Position Advanced Control System Engineer
Function
• Project definition inputs (project expectations meeting minutes, Equipment Design Memorandum, Process & Instrumentation Diagram, Control Item Summary, Schematic Wiring Diagram, Product Line ACS Programming, etc.) to develop and to monitor the following key outputs to the project team : control system architecture/specifications/order requistion, control program and database, graphic files, operating manual, project control program documentation book.
• Simulation checks against the appropriate configuration documentation prior to shipment of the control system to the site;
• Review and obtain sign-off per Advanced Control Systems and Applications Configuration Checklists;
• Involved in the field system installation, loop checking, commissioning and startup activities. Support Operations Engineers, Process Engineers and other plant start-up personnel as the facility is brought on-line;
• Work closely with other project team members to coordinate design efforts also in order to eliminate duplication and reiterations in the work process;
• Assure that all relevant policies, procedures and standards are implemented and followed.
• Reports to the engineering manager Russia.
Requirements
• Strong communication skills in Russian and English, and one or more major European languages is a benefit.
• Good IT knowledge (Windows XP, communication networks (TCP/IP, Modbus), hardware assembly).
• Willing to travel for at least 30% of your time .
• Results driven team player able to communicate accurately
• Strong problem solver and you have the ability to work, analyse and solve problems independently.
• English - Fluent.
• Quick learner and apply new concepts, skills and knowledge to assigned tasks.
