Cost Control Leader
Work location: Moscow (Russia)
Activities:
• Set up of the cost control system on a large and complex development project
• Coordination of cost control activities in several work locations
Reporting to: Offshore Services Manager
Functions
• During FEED phase, co-ordinate, perform and control the activities of the Project Cost Control function.
• Prepare, analyze, evaluate, process and present information and documentation relating to the Project Budget and Cost Control activities.
Job holder’s main activities are:
• To develop, communicate and implement procedures to ensure the efficient organization and operation of the Project budget and cost control activities
• Prepare for review the initial Project budget and perform all activities necessary for subsequent revisions
• Establish the Project cost control system using appropriate software.
• Prepare for issue all necessary cost and budget information for Project Management, and Operating Company Shareholders.
• Implement a system of invoice receipt, approval and issue for payment
• Assist in the cost assessment of any contract variations and identify any Project cost trends
• Develop and maintain a system of storage and retrieval of Project budget and cost documents
• If necessary, co-ordinate the Project Cost Control Team and ensure distribution of tasks and training of others.
• These responsibilities and activities will be later amended and extended to cover the project supervision requirements after FEED.
Requirements
• 10-15 years mini in contracting activities with a significant experience in oil & gas projects.
• Senior experience, Engineer level or equivalent.
• Fluent English mandatory.
