This position is based in Moscow, Russia with possible relocation overseas. Cost Estimator will be involved in a major Oil & Gas operator’s project.
Activities:
• To perform cost estimation based on the technical scope of work of the project provided by dedicated engineers at a given time by using the information and means at his disposal: databases, estimation tools, private and professional experience, and external consultations (with suppliers, RDIs, construction companies etc.);
• To participate actively in cost review with Construction & Package Managers;
• To develop databases, estimation tools and global ratios;
• To develop and update the cost database based on: market surveys and intelligence, analysis of contractors’ costs, as well as other sources from the group and other oil companies;
• To provide support to other departments in Construction & Projects to justify the estimations to the clients, assets or partners;
• To assist other departments in Construction & Projects by performing cost analyses of estimations made by other parties;
• To carry out any other duties related to or tasks that may be assigned by his hierarch;
• To ensure compliance of the developed cost estimation with RF standards;
• To check the contractor Performed Works Cost Reports forms in KS-2, 3, 11, 14 format;
• To develop cost estimation related to acceptance of the TEPR assets;
• To submit necessary weekly estimation reports & KPI’s to his hierarchical superiors.

Qualifications and Experience required:
Graduate engineer with minimum 5 years experience in the oil and gas industry.
Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
Fluent Russian is mandatory.
Good communication skills, able to work in a multicultural environment.
