Main Functions:
- Development Geology Assurance in support of Major Projects and Comprehensive FMs: interfacing with Development Geologists who are responsible for and own the static reservoir model; interrogating and assessing the validity/applicability of all geological data, information and knowledge
- Coordination of Development Geology component of Assurance evaluation between Assurance Group, Project Team, Upstream Reservoir Management Group and the operating companies.
- To undertake analysis on existing models to check for validity and sensitivity to parameter and modelling variations
- Coaching and mentoring in advanced development geology techniques e.g. FZI/HFU
Requirements:
- Expatriate
- Geological University Degree
- Minimum of 20 years hands-on, development geology experience applying classic techniques; performing static modelling; ensuring geological constraints are fully incorporated into development plans; coring & logging programs
- English – fluent; Russian – basic to fluent
- Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite, Reservoir static models (Petrel, RMS, etc), Petrophysical log analysis software
Mobile to work in the regions as required to visit site offices and operations, well locations, contractor service bases, business trips, etc.
Permanent place of work is Moscow
