We are currently looking for a Director of Asset Management to work in our Almaty head office with direct reference to the Managing Director .
Key responsibilities
•Advise on the opportunities regarding the company's current assets •Inform about political, legislative and regulative developments in Kazakhstan
•Organize the obtainment of authority permits, licenses and approvals according to local legislation •Coordinate preparation and submission of field development plans, annual work programs and budgets to government authorities
•Ensure compliance of the company activities with local legislation
•Provide support to employees in handling compliance issues •Coordinate timely preparation of required reporting on the company’s activities to government authorities
•Manage and develop relationships with the government authorities for further development of the company’s business activity in Kazakhstan
•Represent company’s interests on meetings with regulatory authorities, government officials and partners Qualifications
•Good communication skills in Russian, English and Kazakh
•Minimum of 10 years industry experience
•A relevant Master degree
•Experience of working in a international oil and gas company
•Economic and legal understanding Personality characteristics
•Good interpersonal skills
•Structured and organised approach to work
•Being detail oriented and conscientious
•Negotiation skills
