My client is an International E&P company with expanding drilling operations in Kazakhstan who is currently looking for an experienced Senior as well as Night Drilling Supervisor.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with complex deep wells in a very challenging reservoir. Great career progression opportunities and additional training (staff basis work) provided.
My client has a number of 2000hp drilling rigs operating in the area. Drilling wells over 5500+m deep, H2S, both vertical and deviated wells, Multilayer Reservoir with High Pressure environment in some layers. It is a 3-4 year drilling programme.
Work schedule:
Ideally looking for staff personnel, 28/28 OR 14/14 rotation. Contractors are not excluded.
At least 3-4 year long contract with an option to extend.
Job is based out of Western Kazakhstan.
The entire management team consists of expats from Europe and Russia, so ideally my client needs some who is proficient in both English and Russian languages.
Minimum requirements:
8+ years of industry experience.
BS Petroleum Engineering or equivalent .
Current certificate in BOP and Well Control.
Language: Russian and English is a must.
Ability to get a work permit / eligibility to work in Kazakhstan on rotational basis.
Work experience:
Experience in drilling deep wells (>4500 m).
Ideally have previous experience with an E&P company.
In-depth knowledge and experience with heavy top drive drilling rigs.
Have skill and expertise in vertical and deviated drilling including horizontal wells.
Experience in with HPHT/H2S drilling.
