We are recruiting an Electrical Field Engineer for the construction of Subsea Compression Pilot in Norway. Job Requirements:
• Ensure Technical documentation is understood by Subcontractor
• As-built documentation
• Follow-up and verify quality and completion/testing of the subcontracted work; in accordance with specifications, rules and regulations; at project office and site team
• “No” carry-over work
• Familiarise with the Subcontracts, and the IFC documentation to fully understand purpose and requirements
Execution method and tasks:
• Daily monitor and verification of Integration & Fabrication, Assembly and Testing Subcontractor work and HSE performance
• Follow-up of Subcontractors Shop engineering, Fabrication, Assembly, Transport (incl Marine), Installation work
• Follow-up of Subcontractors Integration work
• Monitor that own and subcontractors activities are performed in a safe way.
• Active cooperation within site team
• Active co-operation with project office engineering department
• Handling of Site Queries and Technical Changes • Propose corrective actions
• Identify need for project office assistance
• Fair business attitude towards subcontractor • Enforce decisions within area of respons
• Assist leader in VO/VOR etc
Qualifications:
• University/High school, relevant subject and min. 8 year experience
Salary and Benefits/ Contract Terms:
• Location: Egersund, Norway (offices in barracks).
• Net salary for 150 hours (overtime is possible): 4,600 Euro (38,100 NOK).
• Candidates will pay for their FOOD and ACCOMMODATION;
site accommodation is available for approx 500 NOK per night OR alternatively rent apartment for approx 1,250 Euro/month
• First round trip to Norway will be provided.
