The job holder must have:
Diploma/qualification in Electrical Engineering disciplines
Minimum 10 years experience in Electrical Maintenance activities in Oil and Gas Industry to have included:
- experience on electromechanical device, power electronic systems, automatic controls, protection and measuring systems, shut down
equipments, direct and alternate drivers
- experience in power distribution network, design and laying of electrical wires
- experience in static and dynamic equipment
- knowledge of design, installation and repair techniques of electrical equipment
- knowledge of operating and maintenance of Workshop equipment and tools
- experience in advanced diagnostic on electrical devices and apparatus
- knowledge of preventive/predictive maintenance techniques
- cost evaluation and monitoring activities capacity
- contractors management ability
Knowledge of local and international codes and regulations regarding electrical systems and equipment
MMS knowledge and experience
Computer literate
Fluent written and spoken English
Purpose: To supervise acting as craft supervision the scheduled and unscheduled electrical maintenance on field equipment (system voltage range from 110 volt up to 110 Kvolt) proactively identifying and resolving problems and minimising downtime, in safe manner and in compliance with AKCO and best practice Maintenance procedures.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
The job holder is responsible for:
• Examining Vendors documentation, contributing in Spares Parts Lists definition, participating to meetings, such as HAZOP / HAZID / SIL /3D Model Review at Vendor Premises, contributing to SAP implementation
• Ensure that all electrical maintenance activities, developed both in onshore plants than in electrical Workshop, are carried out in a safe manner, with the best working practise and in respect with scheduling programs
• Monitoring, inspecting and verifying the performance of the Maintenance Contractors and their respect of time scheduling
• Following-up and controlling the testing of new/modified equipment, systems and machinery
• Diagnosing faults and trends and taking or recommending appropriate corrective actions
• Ensuring that AKCO and statutory safety requirements are adhered to in all Maintenance activities undertaken by AKCO personnel and external Contractors
• Ensuring that provision of adequate resources to carry out the activities in plants and workshop, e.g. special tools and materials for the technicians and/or additional maintenance specialist support
• Compiling, completing and submitting of reports and documentation to the required standards and at the relevant frequency
• Contributing to the development and updating of a formal maintenance system for production facilities
• Detailing approvals and work permits required prior to commencement of activities and shut-down needs
