Position: Electrical/Instrumentation Engineer Offshore Electrical/Instrumentation (E/I) Technicians Offschore are required for a large company in the Netherlands. Activities of this company includes the provision of design, installation/modification, commissioning, service and maintenance of electrical, instrumentation (measuring and control) and automation systems for customers in the petrochemical industry (offshore plants).
As an E/I Technician you are responsible for the execution of tests, calibrations, commissioning and maintenance of electrical, instrumentation, measuring, control and automation systems of new, modified and operational systems and installations.
You work with electrical systems (low voltage distribution, frequency controllers, electric motors, etc.), measuring systems (pressure, flow, level, temperature transmitters) and control and automation systems (control valves, safe guarding systems, PLC, DCS, etc.).
Requirements:
- at least Technical High School, graduated with electrical (power) engineering or electrical technician diploma;
- relevant working experience as electrical (installation/maintenance) technician, preferably also as an measuring-control/automation technician;
- offshore experience preferable;
- preferably electrical authorization SEP, at least up to 1 kV;
- very strong focus on safety;
- strong customer focus, flexible, a team worker with a high level of responsibility and great problem solving skills;
- knowledge of the English or German language, verbally and in writing;
- willingness to relocate to The Netherlands
