Job Title: Drilling Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Workover and Completion
Location: Iraq
Assignment Type: Rotational
Type: Contract
Experience: 5+ years
Able to apply basic knowledge to carry out a sequence of tasks. Under close supervision is able to perform routine assignments requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria. Provides technical support for the evaluation, design, implementation, and post well analysis of all phases of drilling, completion, and workover operations.
• Conducts well planning and design
• Performs drilling, completion, workover, and well intervention operations
• Bids, reviews, and recommends contractor services
• Reviews and approves contractor service invoices
• Assists in daily supervision of drilling projects
• Reviews new technology in the drilling of oil and gas wells
• Assists in gathering data for drilling presentations
• Responsible for maintaining required safety training and compliance
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering related discipline and a minimum of one year of experience in drilling, completion, and workover engineering activities
• Knowledge of field operation, rig selection, equipment selection and personnel requirements
• Proficient in drilling, completion and workover engineering design
• Ability to organize, prioritize and make decisions under time restrictions
• Fluent in English
DECISION-MAKING AUTHORITY/KNOWLEDGE
Responsible for the selection of well designs that enable optimum production levels.

Normal office and/or field environment
