Job Title: Workover Supervisor
Location: Iraq
Assignment Type: Rotational
Work type: Contract

We are currently looking to recruit up Workover Supervisors (day and night) to be based in Iraq. The rotation is 28 days on/off.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure the safe and efficient operations of contract workover rigs on both oil and gas wells. Drive continuous improvement in safety aspects of rig operations by initiating proactive programs and policies. This will include leading weekly safety meetings for the entire workover group and regular participation in job site tailgate safety meetings.
• Drive for environmental proactivity in well site work. This will include monitoring of well site diking for SPCC control, use of appropriate equipment to minimize environmental damage, and clean-up and reporting of spills as required.
• Prioritize wellwork to minimize deferred production and reduce rig costs.
• Develop and maintain job safety analysis (JSAs)- pulling procedures, pump handling and installation, cleanout methods and procedures, etc.
• Provide input on workover/recompletion design to engineering.
• Drive cost reduction by leading the Failure Analysis Team and by providing timely reporting and feedback on conditions seen in the field to engineering
• Material Transfer documentation and tracking
• Ensure accurate well data is entered daily into the morning report system.
• Positively interact with office and field personnel in a manner that creates an atmosphere of creativity, cooperation, continuous improvement, safety, and environmental stewardship.

Ideal experience should include:
- Min 10 years experience as a supervisor on onshore workover rigs.
- Must hold Well Control Certificate
- Experience with working on well pads
- Experience in running dual completion
- Qualifications: Degree in Petroleum Engineering or any other relevant degree
- Fluent in English
