ACTIVITIES
1) Ensure that EIA of the project requirements are properly and timely implemented on site.
2) Follow up the changes in the Environmental National Regulation and insure its implementation in the Project activities
3) Follow up, and insure the correct implementation of the Environmental Management System in accordance with ISO 14001 requirements
4) Supervise the activities, for Env. compliance, of assigned personnel on the site. Perform supervisory duty at the level established by his hierarchy
5) Perform regular internal audit of construction sites for consistency to internal environmental rules and RF regulation; support and, if required, participate in the visits or inspections by RF env. authorities and company head office audits
6) Take part as necessary in HSE meetings at Project management level and on sites
7) Participate in Environmental awareness and Environment protection communication actions
8) Conduct environment awareness and training programs for contractors and all personnel included in construction activities at the required level.
9) Organize, and assist environmental monitoring or sampling campaigns on construction sites. PROFILE/ QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
1. The job holder must possess a BSc in engineering or equivalent geo-environmental engineering, with a minimum of 3/5 years experience in Environmental Protection within or in close liaison with oil and gas industry
2. Familiar with local and environmental regulation.
3. Good knowledge of English (necessary) and French welcome.
