Anotech ENERGY is a subsidiary that belongs to Alten S.A which is a French Engineering consulting group that counts over 15 000 employees in 18 countries.
This position is based in Russia. The Environmental Coordinator will be involved in a major construction project.
Activities:
• Keep the plant in compliance with all local, provincial, and federal requirements and environmental license issues and legislations.
• Assist with environmental reporting;
• Maintains a working knowledge of Company specific HSE standards, programs and goals by learning and applying HSE procedures as established by the Company on a project site or in an office through departmental training;
• Ensures project site adheres to company and regulatory HSE standards and guidelines;
• Promotes and fosters HSE standards and goals with programs throughout the Company and/or project to ensure a safe and productive work environment;
• Administers a specific function like maintaining HSE-specific project files on testing for substance abuse, collecting environmental or health samples, or providing personal protective equipment to project personnel;
• Complete and submit the monthly environmental scorecard;
• Monitors HSE programs by creating summaries/reports/presentations for HSE management and makes recommendations based on interpretations;
• Provides input for Environmental permits preparation on projects by maintaining knowledge of current guidelines and regulations;
• Provides support in the development of Environmental project plans and development of HSE specifications;
• Compile and send a weekly report of the plant's environmental behavior of the past week;
• Conducts surveys, audits, evaluations, inspections, and investigations of incidents and activities to monitor and track HSE standards, programs and goals including project environmental data collection and documentation;
• Maintain a library of all records for environmental audit purposes;
• Prepares and maintains reports, or documents that may be required to meet corporate or regulatory requirements, including monitoring application of HSE standards and goals;
• Other related duties/functions as assigned
Context and environment:
• Rotation 16x2/ Relocation
Qualifications and Experience required:
Graduate engineer with minimum 4 years’ experience in the environmental sphere.
Fluent in English (speaking and writing).
Fluent Russian is mandatory.
Good communication skills, able to work in a multicultural environment.
