The job holder must have:
* Degree in relevant engineering disciplines
* Minimum 10 years experience in engineering /design management
* Minimum 15 years relevant experience in Site Management of Construction Engineering in offshore Oil & Gas projects.
* Prior role with single point responsibility for a contract, inclusive budget and schedule responsibility.
* Practical QA / QC Fabrication Yard / Ship Yard
Construction Experience.
* Familiarity with Primavera, Microsoft Office Software: Word, Excel, etc
Purpose:
• Manage the engineering and construction team, in coordination with the staff functions, in direct report to the EP Cluster & Pipelines manager,
•To provide specific multidisciplinary design/construction expertise during tender, design and fabrication phases.
•Assure the execution team is properly staffed, coordinated and motivated for the management of the various contract phases.
The job holder is responsible for:
•Manage the Technical Evaluation of EPF tender exercise and supervise the Commercial analysis in cooperation with C&P functions.
•Coordinating the multidiscipline team with integration of Kazak staff, allowing implementation of plan and requirements for training in disciplines and management
•Leading the identification, adoption of appropriate HSE standards, inline with Kazakhstan national standards and norms and policy. Approve HSE policy, actively promote HSE to contractor.
•Supervise and interface with the EPF Contractor and its discipline engineers, during the execution of engineering and construction activities, ensuring:
oQuality of the works: Approve QA/QC plans, monitor for compliance
oSchedule: Verification of contractor schedule and progress in terms of design, procurement and fabrication.
oContract mgt: Coordination of cost forecasting and VO management in line with the contract
of the work according to contractual requirements, and in compliance with specifications and standards established.
•Reviewing and commenting on documentation produced by contractors (e.g. technical reports, specifications, procedures, drawings, etc) ensuring implementation of established procedures and good engineering practice.
•Performing technical assessment of the works performed by the construction contractors and reporting on the findings;
•Coordinating the review and approval of the "As Built" and "As Installed" documentation.
•Providing technical support for the closing stages and activities of the whole project
•Ensuring smooth and effective transfer of data, communication and interfaces between contractors and from the
•Liaising with QA/QC and Safety functions, as appropriate, for all matters concerning Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Safety and compliance with the Statutory Authorities requirements.
