Anotech ENERGY is an engineering consulting company with more than 550 employees, specialized in the field of oil and gas. We are the partner of major players in the oil and gas industry and energy sector. Anotech ENERGY is a subsidiary that belongs to Alten S.A which is a French Engineering consulting group that counts over 15 000 employees in 18 countries.
This position is based in Western Siberia, Russia. The Exploration geologist will be involved in a major Oil & Gas operator’s project.
Activities:
• Investigating the structure and evolution of the earth and its natural resources
• Planning programmes for exploration of sites for oil
• Surveying and mapping geologically promising sites
• Collecting, recording and analysing samples and data from test sites
• Advising on the development of reserves.
• Geochemical sampling and interpretation for target delineation and development
• Writing of comprehensive Monthly, Quarterly and Terminal reports on exploration programmes and licences
• Exploration Sampling of RC and DD samples
• Preparation and Updating of longsections with drill intercepts
Context and environment:
• Rotation 28d/28d,
Qualifications and Experience required:
Graduate engineer with minimum 7 years experience in the energy industry.
Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
Fluent Russian is mandatory.
Good communication skills, able to work in a multicultural environment.
