Field Instrumentation Engineer for Anotech ENERGY Russia
Anotech ENERGY is an engineering consulting company with more than 550 employees, specialized in the field of oil and gas. We are the partner of major players in the oil and gas industry and energy sector. Anotech ENERGY is a subsidiary that belongs to Alten S.A which is a French Engineering consulting group that counts over 15 000 employees in 18 countries.
This position will be based in Russia. The Field Instrumentation Engineer will be involved in a major Oil & Gas operator’s project.
Activities:
• manages, under the responsibility of the Field Project Engineering, all technical activities related to Electrical & Instrumentation during the Detailed engineering phases, with particular attention paid to HSE matters
• functions the main interlocutor of Engineering and LLI’s Contractor(s) for Electrical & Instrumentation technical issues
• Review and digest the detail Design
• Verify the deliverables to be produced to or by the Contractor(s) related to Electrical & Instrumentation
• Coordinate and supervise Electrical & Instrumentation studies for the Central Process Facilities, associated drilling Pads, Overhead lines and cables pulling …
• Check that the design is developed in line with the Pre-Project and the Statement of Requirements
• Ensure coordination of Electrical & Instrumentation activities with the other Specialists within the project team. Ensure global consistency of the design
• Follow-up Contractor(s) activities. Control and comment all Electrical & Instrumentation documentation issued by contractor(s) related to engineering, procurement, project management, fabrication and tests, and check that they are as per Company specifications and rules.
• Call for and participate to necessary technical and/or co-ordination meetings required to achieve the performance of the work. Participate to internal and external interface meetings
• Participate to Technical Reviews/Audits (HAZID, HAZOP, PTR …). Ensure follow-up and implementation of outcome
• Liaise with the operating team to collect necessary data for the project
• Manage technical interfaces related to Electrical & Instrumentation between EPC Contracts, LLI’s …
• Provide support/participate to construction and commissioning for activities related to Electrical & Instrumentation
• Verify that the Contractor(s) are administrating properly the Company Long Lead Items
• Participate to site visits as necessary
• Participate in weekly and monthly progress meetings
• Provide input to the Field project Engineering for Electrical & Instrumentation progress reporting (data, narrative …), highlight critical problems and propose corrective actions
• Ensure and liaise with his field project engineer and design author ship
Context and environment:
• Rotation, 4x4
Qualifications and Experience required:
Graduate engineer with minimum 7 years experience in the industry.
Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
Fluent Russian is mandatory.
Good communication skills, able to work in a multicultural environment.
