Field Project Engineer

* Graduate engineer with minimum 5 years experience in the oil industry (upstream) with a background in engineering or site engineering
* Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
* Good communication skills, able to work in a multicultural environment
* Knowledge of AUTOCAD software

Responsibilities:

* Organize and implement inter-disciplines co-ordination in his team. Propose necessary technical arbitration between field engineering disciplines in case of conflicts and define priorities
* Implement close coordination with the site Technical department of Construction Contractors to:
o Track and check that all relevant deliverables are issued on time,
o Analyse and agree on status of engineering issues, responsibilities of actions, drawings registers
o Review availability of drawings, mark-ups, vendor documentation on Contractor(s) side,
o Check that Endorsement of design/mark-ups is properly conducted by Contractor(s)
o Discuss identified issues to minimize impacts, optimise solutions in line with delays & costs
o Challenge Contractors with the help of Construction discipline superintendents with regard to issue on technical feasibility
o Assist Contractor to prepare the works and provide any required clarification with regard to design and way to perform the preparation
* Drive Field engineers to ensure issues are cleared in line with Construction timing and any potential clash is anticipated
* Liaise and guide Design Authorship representatives to ensure issues are cleared in time
* Liaise with Construction Superintendent and all discipline Superintendents to define priorities, identify daily site issues and inform on progress and availability of solutions, as well as defining level of assistance in terms of works preparation
* Implement and maintain status/registers to track progress and allow good reporting
* Liaise and ensure good co-ordination with site planning engineer
* Liaise and ensure good co-ordination with all the others entities in the project team (Construction, Operations, HSE, Permitting …). Liaise with other entities of the Company to manage interfaces.
* Liaise with Moscow Construction support team to exchange on status, actions and highlight critical problems
* Coordinate the works of Site DCC to ensure documentation filing, archiving, dispatch are in order
* Ensure all technical documentation is produced according to plans, specifications
* Ensure that Site Technical queries are reviewed and answered in a timely manner
* Call for and participate to necessary technical and/or co-ordination meetings required to achieve the performance of the work. Participate to internal and external interface meetings
* Participate to Technical Reviews/Audits (HAZID, HAZOP, PTR …). Ensure follow-up and implementation of outcome
* Consider site visits on works locations as routine activity
* Participate in weekly and monthly progress construction meetings and any other required meetings
* Report to Construction Site Manager for Project reporting, highlight critical problems and propose corrective actions
