Field Superintendent in Sakhalin (permanent position)
The persons will normally be located in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Sakhalin, where the company operates three rigs already and is about to operate a fourth. The company wants to structure its local organization and expand even more. It is a permanent position on the client's payroll. Hopefully the work schedule will be somewhat like 11 weeks ON, 2 week OFF.
Desired Expertise: a driller, tool pusher or rig manager
Experience: 10+ years
Minimum Education: Bachelors/3-5 yr Degree
Location: Sakhalin, Russia
Pay: USD 175,000-230,000/year
Job Description:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
• Liaison between the Country Manager and the Rig Superintendent and Toolpusher.
• Acts as liaison with Operator's Company Representative.
• Organizes equipment, material and personnel for various aspects of the operation.
• Ensures that all company policies and procedures are adhered to
• Must be familiar with HSE programs and work in conjunction with the field safety team to initiate, develop and implement improvements
• Identifies and ensures that all unsafe acts, conditions and equipment are immediately repaired or corrected.
• Ensures various operations are scheduled properly so that the total project timing is managed efficiently.
• Reviews and discusses morning and evening reports from rigs and continually on call for assigned rigs.
REQUIREMENTS
• 10-15 years of continued drilling contractor experience as a driller, tool pusher or rig manager
• IWCF Well Control
• Rig certifications
• Ability to communicate in Russian and English
