Oil and gas company (our client) is looking for Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer!

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation Engineering; 10-15 years experience in the Oil and Gas Industry
Possess in depth knowledge of the IEC electrical standards
Possess knowledge of the Russian Federation engineering standards, practices and methods
Strong oral communication skills in Russian; ability to communicate clearly with design team members and present design reviews to supervisors and clients
English language oral and written is mandatory
In-depth understanding of construction and engineering safety practices
Strong leadership - good interpersonal and people management skills
Proven exceptional organizational, prioritization, time management skills with attention to details

Major Duties of Position:
Review Electrical and Instrumentation design documentation from a constructability, reliability, and owner specification stand point
Participate and present information in design reviews
Provide clear and concise engineering solutions during construction phase.
Timely deliver E&I engineering design field request. Support field engineering group with the RFI (request for information) identified by Project Engineer and/or Lead Field Engineer
Support contract group with all requests pertaining to the suppliers approval and scope of supply verification
Interface and work closely with the Local Control System, Telecom, Security and SCADA specialists to ensure successful SCADA system implementation.
Multidiscipline engineering experience. Provide E&I engineering technical support to field engineering group and construction team in all E&I construction activities.
Interface with operations, maintenance, and other engineering and management personnel
Participate in the safety program by identifying and mitigating potential hazards before they come to fruition
Participate in construction oversight activities.
Assist in developing policies and procedures for equipment static and functional integrity testing.
Apply principles and engineering techniques of instrumentation & electrical engineering when working with other engineering disciplines and teams to accomplish company goals and initiatives
Protect the company against frivolous work scope changes, cost increases, and schedule slippage during the life of the project

Operational Excellence / Organizational Capability
Promote a professional atmosphere and relationships between various segments of the project team.
In area of responsibility undertake the role of Champion in the Project’s campaign to enroll Contractor’s management and workforce in the culture of Incident and Injury Free (IIF) construction execution
Ensure construction activities conform to approved IFC design documentations
Ensure good coordination between Contractor and Company Quality Control processes and Quality Assurance inspection
Comply and promote compliance with Company and Project specific procedures/processes to ensure success

Others

The position will be based in Novorossiysk, Russian Federation. Frequent travel may be required to other cities outside of Novorossiysk. Candidates interested in this position should carefully consider living/working conditions in Novorossiysk before apply.
