Oil and gas company (our client) is looking for HSE Medical Coordinator.
This position will be responsible for the administrative duties associated with the CPE medical services. Position will report to CPE HSE Manager. Key functions include:
• Championing Incident and Injury-Free (IIF) engagement and implementation across all locations. • Interface with CPC HES, PMC HES, Contractor Medical Teams and National Medical Teams in local Hospitals and Clinics • Assist in planning and implementation of emergency response procedures and guidelines, and interface these between CPC, PMC, Contractors, and National Medical Services • Ensure Contractor’s medical plans, facilities, personnel, and emergency response plans meet CPC and regulatory requirements • Maintain medical records and ensure reporting requirements are met • Provide First Aid to CPE Assist in arranging for PMC employees appropriate routine medical and primary care Assist in coordinating any medical evacuation of personnel • Develop and Implement CPE Early Injury Management process • Report PMC medical incidents as they occur on a daily basis • Report all outside medical referrals to the PMC Project Medical Services Manager • Report to the PMSM all matters relating to PMC HSE work related injury or illness • As requested, assist with any agreed Occupational Health Program, including health and wellness and pre-employment programs • To work proactively to ensure the quality of site medical care. • Assist in periodic health, sanitation, and hygiene inspections of site facilities and provide assistance in identifying health and hygiene needs. • Any other duties and responsibilities as may be required by CPE • Compliance with Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) ensuring all interactions with governmental officials are compliant with FCPA requirements Operational Excellence • Maintain an open door communication and rapport with Project Team • Promote a professional atmosphere • Establish team building rapport with internal and external recipients to ascertain a successful working relationship Job Qualifications:
• Min 10 years previous project works (5 years in Oil & Gas international projects occupational health exp)) • Experience in RF and/or R of K regulatory requirements • Upper graduate University paramedical or industrial hygiene training in combination with managerial experience in health management. • Emergency Medicine (EMS) Certification a plus • Overseas certifications a plus • Must have a methodical and well organized approach to the work environment • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to interface with colleagues at all levels • Must have experience with working in an integrated team environment • Must be able to deal with short time frames and handle multiple competing priorities • Proactive thinker • Must be able to conceptualize processes and systems to meet project needs and effectively implement same • Be able to receive constructive criticism for professional growth • English and Russian fluency required
