International Oil and Gas Company is looking for Technical assistant!
Work Conditions • Full-time residence in Novorossiysk city. • Work schedule is irregular work hours / 5 days per week with occasional overtime when necessary • When the employee is expected to start working: January 2013 . • When the employee is expected to finish working: 2015 Duties • The employee will be reporting to the Head of Field Engineering. • Supposed to support safety in an active manner • Track and process both incoming and outgoing correspondence of the department • Translate outgoing correspondence in writing between English and Russian • Interpret verbally between English and Russian for the Field Engineering team • Take minutes of meetings about engineering / technical issues and further produce the ready-to-use version of the minutes. • Make arrangements for the meetings and appointments where the Field Engineering team attend. • Provide administrative support for the department • Cooperate with the specialist members of the department in order to prepare letters related to various disciplines. • Interface with managers and assistants of the related departments • Prepare letters on behalf of the Field Engineering team, business correspondence. • Work with the POL system tracking correspondence and technical documentation. • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor when necessary.
Required Qualifications: • 3 or more years of experience working as an assistant at international oil & gas industry projects • Experience of work in either a construction or engineering department of a company specializing in construction or project management • Experience with document control is essential • Ability to overcome difficulties. • Need to have personal traits and communication skills sufficient to avoid confrontation when interfacing with workmates at any level. • Computer skills: the Microsoft applications (Excel/Word/Outlook). • An essential requirement is Fluency in English including technical English. Knowledge of terminology related to construction, engineering, oil & gas industry. • Experience of work in an integrated team environment
