Responsibilities
• Guarantee the accomplishment of the drilling and/or completion and/or work-over operations, in compliance with codes of practice, safety and environmental protection, all while optimising costs and lead times
• Ensure the suitability to operational requirements of personnel, equipment and services
• Contribute to the return on Exploration & Production investments, through a continual search for the improving equipment, services and operational procedures
• Prepare the daily instructions for fluids, cement and wastes management on rig site.
• Ensure the cost follow-up of the fluids, cement and wastes.
• Ensure the compliance of safety requirements and the frame of reference.
• Anticipate needs and organise product delivery.
• Contribute to improving skills and know-how (REX + Section Debriefing).
• Initiate and follow cement pre-job tests as program recommendations.
• Review fluids, cement and wastes management phase reports.
• Perform bi-annually Audits of Fluids, Cement and Waste management base.
• Respect TEPR and local standards at all time. Working with permanent respect of the Environment.
• Minimize volume of wastes generated per well.
• Contribute to get well integrity.
• Optimize drilling fluids systems and minimize costs.
• Perform good cement jobs.
• Volume tracking and traceability of generated mud & cutting wastes.
• Ensure contractors are following the drilling program and/or apply Fluids Superintendent recommendations.
Requirements
• High education
• 4 years of professional experience
• Chemistry background ideally
• Fluent English
