This position is based in Western Siberia, Russia. The Geophysical Specialist will be involved in a major Oil & Gas operator’s project.
Activities:
• Management of the overall geophysical programme and ensuring it's fit with the project schedule and delivery Project management
• Oversight/QC/Instruction of other geophysicists’ work
• Involvement in a variety of project types including fully integrated reservoir studies, independent opinion work, dataroom support and outsourced technical studies
• Report writing
• Depth Conversion
• Seismic Interpretation
• Attribute and inversion analysis
• Mapping, modelling and volumetrics
• Geophysical Tasks within the team with a focus on regional and semi-regional seismic interpretation, depth conversion
• Geological concept support
• Seismic processing and reprocessing
• Quantitative interpretation and attribute mapping
Context and environment:
• Rotation 28d/28d
Qualifications and Experience required:
Graduate engineer with minimum 7 years experience in the energy industry.
Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
Fluent Russian is mandatory.
Good communication skills, able to work in a multicultural environment.
