Responsibilities
• To design, develop, load and deliver complete valid data, covering wide data scope domain (from seismic to production) at different database tools solution such as Finder, Raw log database, EDMS database, archive, information and knowledge.
• To guarantee the database integrity, the permanent update with incoming data and the quality control of all data type before loading into the corporate data bases.
• To follow rules and procedures (Identifier, naming convention, confidentiality)
• To promote the use of the DM implemented solution, by organizing information sessions for geosciences &reservoir staff.
• To draw up procedures for data management, data flows & work flows accordingly to the corporate standards.
• To implement a paperless project and a EDMS project
• To liaise on a regularly basis with headquarter IGEO team regarding any problems, improvement or information requested
• Management of documents and data of GSR department (registration, inventory, archiving, distribution).
• Support of physical (reports, rock samples, fluids …) and/or electronic data
• Put into operation different data bases and archiving software: DocXplo (e-Search), Access etc.
• Recommendations for optimization of IT tools (hardware and software)
• Control and management of data circulation (documents borrowed by partners etc.)
• Reception/dispatch of documents, data and samples
• Data loading into workstations (Geoframe, Geolog6, ArcView etc.)
• Recommendations in terms of software and hardware use in workstations
• Management and optimization of tree-like file structure on w: server
• Participate to reporting for partners & authorities (QP)
• Put in place DRP for GSR as per Senior VP Explo Manager Policy request Accountabilities
• Ensure the preservation and integrity of data
• Guarantee the organization and availability of Geosciences & Reservoir data in order to ensure to the proper course of operations & studies
• Interface with IT dept in order to provide a robust IT system coping with GSR end-users needs Requirements
• At least 3-year experience in Geo Information domain
• Fluent English
• Good knowledge of geosciences & reservoir data
• Knowledge of databases & data model
• IT knowledge of specific GSR software and hardware environment
• Spirit of order, conscientiousness, Sense of service, Confidentiality
• Capacity to communicate
