Location : Eskene West, KZ.
Duration: 12 months, with the possibility of extension
Starting: ASAP
Indicative rate : GBP705. – per day of work (subject to final approval)
MINIMUM PRE-SELECTION REQUIRMENTS ARE SHOWN BELOW:
The job holder must have:
* Engineering/Technical Degree or equivalent;
* 15 years of working experience in oil and gas industry both onshore and with experience in rail loading operations;
* 10 years of working experience in a similar level position.
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of the international
engineering standards, procedures and methods; skills in reading and
interpreting the drawings and blue-prints; ability to read, write,
understand and explain the technical engineering documentation;
To provide support and assistance in coordination of all engineering issues and enquiries related to the Eskene West Rail Project (EWRP) during detail design, procurement and construction phase, ensuring the most efficient and timely performance
The job holder is responsible for:
• Coordinating and analysing the engineering works performed by the EWRP Engineering teams who will be located in multiple locations, ensuring integrity and consistency;
• Revising and checking the drawings and blueprints, analysing them to ensure the integrity of the engineering design for all works is achieved;
• Coordinating the engineering activities of the contractors;
• Coordinating the engineering subcontractors employed to ensure compliance of the works with RoK regulations and codes;
• Liaising with suppliers of materials/equipment for any matter related to compliance with engineering requirements;
• Reviewing/providing responses/Approving TQs and CRs issued by contractors keeping an accurate record of them;
• Continuously liaising with contractors, revising their engineering documentation ensuring its alignment and integrity;
• Continuing liaising with other Agip KCO departments, e.g. EP engineering Manager, Commissioning, Production & Maintenance, HSE, PRC, Local Content;
• Analysing the performance of the contractors and providing reports to the EWRP Project Manager, properly identifying and recording all possible findings and suggesting solutions;
• Providing proper support to the EWRP Project Manager and act as Deputy on his behalf.
