Big oil&gas company is looking for Head of Maintenance Planning in Qatar.
Key Result Areas:
Responsible for ensuring annual plans for the Maintenance Department are compiled covering all routine and non-routine work activities. Ensures budgets are developed based on detailed activity plans (costed, prioritised activities) for execution Ensures procedures are in place and implemented such that all work is prioritised and, where necessary, emergent work or lower priority planned work is deferred to later periods. Ensures controls are in place to make certain all activity is monitored and reported as to meet business objectives and that budgets comply with the requirements of the Corporate Business Plan and KPIs.
Responsible for developing and implementing business processes and procedures to provide for effective monitoring and performance against KPIs covering both Maintenance and CMC
Jointly with Head of M&R systems, responsible for ensuring best materials engineering practices are applied in the operation and maintenance of the Assets. Participate with Technical and Supply Group to ensure stock inventory values are maintained at levels that meet the operational and financial needs of the Assets. Ensure that Preservation programs are developed and implemented for Critical Equipment spares. Support the development and growth of subordinate staff; Mentor National staff to achive high levels of skills in Planning
Knowledge Skills and Experience:
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, advanced degree in Business Administration, or equivalent. Minimum 5 years experience in the oil and gas industry with emphasis on operational planning, CMMS, budget control etct. Computer literate with a good knowledge of business software applications, SAP systems, and planning / scheduling software, i.e., Primavera. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills and ability to work as Team Leader and mentor. Exceptional interpersonal and delivery skills. Good adaptability to multinational environment, with wide exposure to various cultures and customs.
