Purpose:
• Provide HSE and security management support for the offshore buildings sites for fabrication activities
• Set standards and controls for HSE and security in accordance with the established policies, procedures, systems and requirements approved by the Offshore Project, in order to provide a consistent approach
Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
The job holder is responsible for:
• Set standards and controls for HSE and security in accordance with the established policies, procedures, systems and requirements approved by the Offshore Project, in order to provide a consistent approach.
• Provide HSE input and support to the Package Manager , Execution Contractor , and the Offshore Project HSE team for all ancillary steelwork fabrication activities.
• Ensure HSE related activities are met and implemented within the ancillary steelwork Fabrication Group
• Provide input as necessary for the execution of the package studies to identify, assess and mitigate HSE risks (QRA, HAZID, ENVID, HAZOP) etc.
• Provide HSE support for the development of key performance indicators to monitor Execution Contractor’s activity progress
• Provide input to ensure that the processes and documentation that are required for the HSE aspects of permitting are provided
• Input into, and implement, the Project HSE Plan
• Review Execution Contractor’s HSE plans, by-products management, audits and emergency plans.
• Analyse the possible HSE issues that may arise during or as a result of fabrication operations performed within the Package
• Evaluate different scenarios of response measures in case of any critical situations during operations
• Ensure that all equipment proposed for fabrication, construction and operations fully complies with HSE international standards, company requirements and local rules and regulations
• Inspect and audit all Package fabrication sites ensuring that they comply with HSE standards as well as working conditions for staff
• Support the contractor in evaluating the impact that their ancillary steelwork operations may have on the local environments and communities and assist in providing solutions
• Support the contractor in assessing potential emergencies associated with steelwork fabrication, construction and operations, such as oil spills, fires, etc, and assist in providing the response measures / plans
• Advising Contractor and Package management on best industrial HSE practice in order to avoid any critical HSE situations during the ancillary steelwork fabrication, construction and operations.

• Agip KCO’s Corporate Health, Safety & Environment Policy, and applying Agip KCO’s Safety Management Systems.
Qualifications & Experience:
The job holder must have
• 5 years previous experience in a similar HSE position in an offshore project environment.
• Knowledge of oil and gas processing equipment.
• Degree or equivalent technician’s diploma.
• Working knowledge of health and safety legislation.
• Experience in environmental control systems in compliance with ISO 14001 regulations
Required Competencies:
The job holder must have proven:
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Adaptability, initiative and problem solving capability
• Ability to work under pressure in an environment which expects highest levels of confidentiality and ethical behaviour
Good people management skills
Working Conditions:
Based in Atyrau, Kazakhstan.
28/28 Shift rotation, 12 hour shift, 7 days a week.

Location
: Atyrau, KZ.

Duration
: 12 months, with the possibility of extension

Starting
: ASAP

Indicative rate
: GBP 455. – per day of work (subject to final approval)
