This position is based in Russia. The HSE Audit and Quality Control will be involved in a major Oil & Gas operator’s project.
Activities:
• Ensure the compliance of the contract signed between the seismic contractor and the company.
• To ensure that Contractor understands and complies with the bridging document.
• Daily update of the remedial work plan prepared for the seismic contractor.
• Conduct pre-use equipment inspections of major equipment using an approved checklist
• Supervise critical procedures where timing and access allows.
• Reporting on daily bases information through the company´s GARS (Geophysical Activity reporting System)
• Maintain statistics on monthly bases using GARS and provide monthly HSE statistical Data to the company’s Gama Coordinator.
• Participate in reporting of incidents, and investigation of them, and corrective actions. Information will be send to HSE Geophysics.
• Take immediate corrective action in situations where imminent serious or major unsafe acts or conditions exist.(right to stop the job)
• Participate in reporting hazards no identified previously, coordinate hazard reporting and development of actions plans.
• Require the Seismic contractor to investigate also incidents applying his own methodology.
• Participate in, assist in coordination and assist in evaluation of various emergency drills, in development of actions plans resulting from evaluation of drills.
• Monitor action plans resulting from inspections, hazard reporting, emergency drills, and incident investigations.
• Participate in safety meetings and document attendance and topics.
• Monitor personal protective equipment usage and advise management when replacement is needed.
• Ensure that contractor complies with all the company’s HSE Policies.
• Conduct weekly and random inspections of each work unit using an approved checklist. Participate in development of action plans to address identified hazards. Report inspection results in writing to Seismic Contractor party manager and company on a weekly basis.
• Watch over the fulfilment by seismic Contractor about:
o Planning and control of daily HSE meetings.
o Feasibility and validity of ERP
o Compliance with all training activities, drills, safety programs, programmed in the HSE project Plan.
Context and environment:
• Rotation 28x28
Qualifications and Experience required:
• Graduate engineer with minimum 10 years experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Appropriate technical qualifications and experience of performing technical audits on seismic equipment with knowledge of working in frozen environments and using both Vibroseis and Impulse sources.
• Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
• Fluent Russian is mandatory.
• Good communication skills, able to work in a multicultural environment.
