HSE Coordinator

This position is based in Russia. The HSE Coordinator will be involved in Yamal LNG Project working among EPC contractor in charge of LNG storage facilities.

Activities:

• Support initiatives undertaken by the HSE resources within the Project teams;
• Active involvement in the risk assessment process associated with the scope of work for each Contractor;
• Complete weekly reports on site and submit to HSE Manager;
• Coordinate and monitor the effectiveness of site HSE management system with EVT and subcontractor groups;
• Conduct gap analysis studies of contractor HSE plans;
• Present HSE elements in weekly coordination meetings;
• Support the HSE Manager in developing systems to enhance HSE kick-off meetings prior to the start of contractual work execution;
• Actively participate in contractor kick-off meetings ;
• Participate in site tours, focused inspections and attendance at HSE site meetings;
• Conduct regular work place audits to identify hazards, unsafe workplace conditions and work practices ;
• Ensure effective incident notification and investigation on the project;
• Participate in incident investigations when required;
• Ensure a robust reporting process is developed and managed ;
• Assist in the early assessment of installation and commissioning risks and agreement/implementation of effective control measures;
• Coordinate planning of HSE safety initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience required:

Graduate Engineer with minimum 8 years experience in oil and gas industry;
Extensive knowledge of Russian Federation regulatory HSE reporting requirements
Fluent in English (speaking and writing);
Fluent Russian is mandatory;
Good communication skills, able to work in a multicultural environment.
